Brenda Ann's serious interest in watercolor began in 2012 while attending workshops with the Florida Keys Watercolor Society. Brenda Ann has served since 2013 as the President of the Florida Keys Watercolor Society and continues to operate her art studio in Stone Harbor. She has been accepted into numerous judged and juried watercolor exhibitions.
Although she enjoys all types of watercolor painting, she is best known for paintings of nostalgic landmarks of the New Jersey seashore and the Florida Keys. She paints many historic places in Key West, Cape May, Stone Harbor and Avalon. She divides her time between Marathon, Florida and Stone Harbor, New Jersey.
She is a member of the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, Philadelphia Water Color Society (Signature member), Garden State Watercolor Society, New Jersey Water Color Society, and Ocean City Fine Arts League. She has taken workshops taught by Andy Evansen, Anne Abgott, Lynn Ferris, Kathleen Denis, Lian Quan Zhen, Tom Jones, Charles Passarelli, Sean Callahan, and Mel Stabin.
